Vinny is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over ten years of experience. He specializes in adolescents and adults seeking help with depression and/or anxiety. From years of experience working at inpatient hospitals, his expertise also includes suicidal ideation, self-harm, and family sessions.
His resume includes professional training while working with individuals in acute crisis at Bradley Hospital to mild cases in private practice. Trained by Brown University researchers, he uses a semi-structured approach rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills. This approach provides both concrete coping skills and also allows for flexibility within client-driven sessions.
He also serves on the board of Child’s Play Cooperative Preschool highlighting both his dedication to community as well as child development.
